Nobel Peace Prize (October 1991)
Presidential Medal of Freedom – President Clinton awards in absentia ( Dec 2000)
Congressional Gold Medal – President George W. Bush awards in absentia (May 2008)
Held under house arrest for 15 years, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was not permitted some of the most basic human rights, including the ability to attend her husband’s funeral, how has this woman held an entire country’s military at bay?
